The HIJI MAMORI (肘守) has been designed to provide targeted protection for the sensitive elbow area during training without restricting your mobility.
Especially during intense keiko, the elbow is often the target – this protector ensures that you can concentrate fully on your technique.
A well-designed protector that perfectly combines comfort and functionality.
Material & Function
At its core is a modern silicone pad, used in this form for the first time in a kendo bandage.
It offers particularly high shock absorption and significantly reduces the impact of strikes – even during longer, intensive training sessions.
In addition, an integrated pad in the inner forearm area provides protection exactly where the tip of the sword frequently strikes.
Fit & Construction
The main padding area is constructed in three parts and covers the entire elbow without restricting movement.
The protector can be worn on either the left or right arm and, thanks to its flexible construction, adapts perfectly to your arm.
It is secured using two adjustable Velcro fasteners, which allow the pressure and fit to be individually adjusted to the upper and lower arm.
Use in training
The HIJI MAMORI is ideal for intensive training in Kendo, Iaido and Aikido – particularly for sensitive elbows or high-impact training.
It provides noticeable relief without restricting your freedom of movement.
